Twice awarded the "Roland Hilder" award by the British Watercolour Society Kelvin has developed a truly unique style using only pure artists watercolours. Painting on the moorland on a hot summer day he experienced a sudden blackness and stillness brought on by a summer storm. It was this storm, which allowed him to find a balance between the British countryside and the Mediterranean colour, which now influences all of his work.
